As the weather getting colder and colder, and we think it’s definitely time to bring out your fave cosy hat to keep you nice and warm. But, many of us think that our styling options are limited when wearing a hat – that is sooo not true, have a nosey at Mim’s latest vlog for some inspo on super easy hat hairstyles to keep you looking oh so chic (and warm!) this winter…

So, let’s begin with some doubled up braids which are a super easy way to achieve a boho inspired hairstyle without too much effort. To achieve this hairstyle, split you hair into two equal sections, if you are using hair extensions for added length – now is the time to secure them. Now, you need to do a standard 3 strand braid half way down your ponytail, secure in place with a hair tie and use a small section of hair from the back of your ponytail to conceal your hair tie. Continue braiding the rest of your ponytail and again secure in place using your hair tie and conceal with a section of your hair. Repeat the same step on the other side and once you have both braids secure gently pull at each braid for a soft, bohemian finish.

Next up we have doubled doubled messy buns – so this is just sectioning your hair into two ponytails, twisting each section of hair and securing it around the base of your ponytail. We know, super easy right!? Simply secure in place with a hair tie and gently pull at sections to fill out your bun.

Last but not least, we have the loop braid. This braid is an amazing alternative if you aren’t too much of a dab hand at braiding. You simply take sections of your ponytail, secure in place with a hair tie then loop a section of hair through and continue until you reach the end of your ponytail. Check out Mim’s tutorial here to see it in action!
